The Arras People 2010 Project Management Benchmark Survey will be a highlight of next week's final Tipoffs edition for the noughties.

Project Management Tipoffs, the renowned project management newsletter from Arras People, will publish its December 2009 edition next Thursday, the final edition for the calendar year. You can look at back issues for free from our Newsletter index page.

As a courtesy to our dedicated Camel personnel, we thought you might like to get a look at the 2010 PM Predicitions issue first-hand, so we’re offering you that very opportunity today. You can subscribe to Project Management Tipoffs for free simply by clicking here and entering your email address. The monthly issue will be in your inbox usually on the third Thursday of the month (as next Thursday the 17th would be).

In the 2010 PM Predictions issue, we plan to tackle several issues:

  • The Arras People staff put on their prognosticator hats and offer their Top 10 for 2010
  • A special guest writer will offer his/her take on what trends project management will induce for the new year and decade
  • Our own Lindsay Scott will offer her review of The Program Management Office Advantage: A Powerful and Centralized Way for Organizations to Manage Projects by Lia Tjahjana, Paul Dwyer and Mohsin Habib
  • Our monthly Question & Answer piece
  • Perhaps most importantly, Arras’ own John Thorpe will both preview this year’s edition of the leading project management survey in the industry, the Project Management Benchmark Report, and also go through some of the past data we’ve been able to cull from project managers nationwide. We encourage our Camel readers to take part in this year’s edition, as we can better understand the full extent of the issues facing UK project management professionals heading into a new decade with more readily active participants. Stay tuned to this space, as we’ll provide links and data for the official release of the 2010 edition on Tuesday, 14th December.
